When you come to class next Tuesday - you need to be prepared to discuss the following on the three chapters you have read for today:
- What else have you learnt about life on the reservation? Make a list and be prepared to support your statements with examples.
- Rowdy, Mary and Mr. P are important characters who are introduced in these chapters. Decide on three positive and three negative characteristics that you feel describe them.
- Alexie doesn't use numbers for his chapters. He gives them titles. Look at the three chapter titles of these pages and try to motivate what they mean and why you think Alexie chose those titles:
"Revenge Is My Middle Name"
"Because Geometry Is Not a Country Somewhere Near France"
"Hope Against Hope"
